Oh precious memories of a long time ago…
Life's sweet moments we do not let go!
Oh forgive me if I no longer remember.
May I hug you and rest my head on your shoulder?
Please guide me, be there for all my tomorrows…
For I still love you so! Sorry it no longer shows…
Take me by the hand it will make me feel just grand!
Like a kid walking barefoot on the beach in the sand!
Everything you do for me will be for you in heaven
God's many special rewards of impending love to collect.
To have helped someone sick and in great need
You will never, ever, consciously have any regrets.
As I progress with Alzheimer's disease and I am no longer responsive.
You will have to be my heart, my emotions.
And please to always faithfully care! Time quickly passes by.
I departed; the lord reclaimed my soul…gently forget me not!Pray for me, and think of me with kindness and love.
That each one of us has always passionately sought!
Someday, when your life is over and all is said and done…
And faithfully Thy God calls all his sweet angels home.
You will be amongst the spiritually chosen ones! Amen.
